1. my in-laws, papa dan & nanay lilian marcos

family relationship especially with in-laws can be tricky and keeping the peace with them is challenging. once you get married - they become yours, in your life as your new family. i could say that i am blessed that i get along with them. i could speak directly to nanay and papa with regards to anything. through nanay, i was able to learn to cook afritada, menudo, mechado. and what i admired most from papa is his strong relationship with God and how he does things for all his apos. since me and hubby moved here in singapore to work, they always there for my son. i am grateful for that :) so when they were here last march together with my two sister in-laws and their families, we made sure that they enjoyed their stay. we went to universal studios, sentosa, orchard, and shopped for them.
2. tobias li

this guy is only 22 years old, the youngest from artelier's family. with his black specs that made him look like nerd, who would thought that this guy is easy to get a long with. born and raised in china, studied in united kingdom and migrated to singapore. at first, i was having a hard time communicating with him as it's hard for him to speak english but as days go on, it turned out smoothly okay. he is my translator everytime i need to call china supplier and i am his super girl when it comes to materials (fabrics, blinds, carpets, wallpaper ) for designer. we are not just colleague, we became friends too. he is there for me when i am depressed, upset in the office and vice versa.
3. mike chan

i met this guy when i was still with cwc, my previous company in manila and that was year 2006. he was my supplier for blind mechanism. when he went to manila to visit our company, he requested me to walk him around. since then, we managed to stay in touch thru emails, ym, friendster, facebook, in short we built friendship. when i moved here in singapore, he prompted me thru email informing me that he will be in town. he went couple of times here because of their project at marina bay sands and every time he's around, we always find time to meet up. then accidentally, we bumped to one another at USS along with my son and i am so glad to see him with his girlfriend. finally, he found the right girl for him after the long searching. the happiness and love defines on his smile.
4. luningning miguel
ning is one of my high school best friends. when she told me that she got a job from rws (she used to work in a luxury ship), i was shouting for joy because another best friend of mine is in town. imagine, three of us in the same country how cool is that? it's easy for us to hang around now.
when she's finally settled with her things and placed we instantly catch up, eat out and reminisce the old days together with aileen. and now she's here, there are more dates to come.. i am sure of it!
5. oliver mistica

bheng (as what they called him) was just an acquaintance before. i met this guy through our common friends. he used to have a bar near our area and most of the time we hanged around to his place, then constant get together like eat out, small party, badminton and out of town. that's how we became friends. when he's off for a vacation from qatar, singapore was his stopped over for 12 hrs so he managed to swing by to have a glimpse of the lion land. rain didn't stop us to hit sentosa, mbs, esplanade, and merlion. and we accomplished itt for 4 hours!!!.. woahhh that was so tiring, though it was pleasure having him around.
6. my artelier family

i distinctly remember my reaction when we were told that the whole artelier are going to bali, indonesia. i have skeptical feeling because of the terrorist attack way back 2002 & 2005. though it was quite long ago. i set aside my fear and it was a good decision i made. bali's enchanting scenery, elegant architectural designs, sumptuous food, friendly people and the sun kissed beaches are really amazing. i was in a high spirits specially i was allowed to bring my karl who was in town that time for school holiday. it was a well-spent holiday, wonderful experience, and well-deserved break from our stress work. from this trip, we were able to get to know more the other side of one another. thanks so much for our generous bosses.
7. eric estanol aka bianca
one of the intelligent amongst my high school batchmates, no doubt! he's funny on his ways, there was no dull moment when he's around. still fresh on my mind how he got kilig, the pinkish face that he got everytime we talk / he saw his crush. it's been ages since the last we saw but when he was in town, he'd still the same eric and if there's changes, he's more kikay now and successful respected professor.
8. my de duque family
this year won't be that remarkable without my loving family. it was the happiest days of my life, (though my mom wasn't around, it be would more happier if she's with us ). my sissy-in law had her vacation from usa, then she and my brother spent their pre-anniversary celebration here in singapore. it was at the right timing'coz edad and my son karl were with us for a vacation. so voila! my family is quite complete. we had a day tour in batam indonesia, we hanged around at universal studios, we pigged-out, we shopped! it was truly a well spent quality time!.. we missed you mama, you're in our hearts during these days! I know soon we are complete na :) in God's precious time!
9/10. my two loves, brabbie & hubby

it was august when the three of us flew to phuket, thailand. it was really unforgettable and very rewarding experience for us. we enjoyed the day trip island hopping, we dine at beach front restaurant and be mesmerized by the ocean view, we had feast in some of the local foods, shop 'till we drop at the local markets wherein you can haggle the price. phuket is really beautiful and i am happy that i was able to spent quality time with my two precious men in my life (actually they are four, the other twos' are my father & our son karl) we are planning to go back again together with the rest of the family.
these are the people that marked my 2010.. i was grateful and privilege to have them which made my year 2010 AWESOME!!!
what about yours? who marked your 2010? hope they made your year extra special too :)
Happy New Year Everyone!
